Here are three fine art templates I created using three pictures from this semester. I think this is a fun way to display a photo. I did notice that it only works with certain photos since it breaks the image in pieces. I think the last of my three works but not as well as the other two.

Week 9: Straight Photolusion
For this photo I decided I wanted to do I Rexburg Temple snow globe. So I found a little plastic fish bowl, sprayed it with fake snow and had my roommate hold it up with the temple in the background. I think it turned out ok. Since it was dark it didn't come out super clear. I used a tripod but with the shape of the plastic bowl things reflected and it distorted the temple a little. It was fun though, I think I might see if it works better in the day.

Week 9: Photolusion Blend
I call this image "Living in a shoe". For this assignment I took five images, four I had and one new image. To create a new image by blending the together. I started by blending the sky into the grass background using a mask. Then I used the lasso tool to pull the shoe out and place it on top. I added a shadow and blended it into the background. I then took pieces of the house, put the behind the shoe and used a mask to blend that image in. Last I used the quick selection tool to pull out the people, used a mask to bend, and added a shadow. I also messed around with saturation and levels on some of the images. It was kind of fun and makes me think of kids stories about characters living in shoes.

Week 8: Panoramic
This is my panoramic. I found all these old cars out on the road that leads to Beaver Dick Park. The hard thing I found with panoramic images is getting the exposures the same. I found the images on the right were much darker then the left. So what I did was add layers with the screen on it to lighten the right side. Then I masked out the left until I found they matched up better.
Week 8: Panoramic Pics
Here are the images I used for the panoramic. I used 16 pictures but for some reason I couldn't get all of them to upload. I found it hard to get them all looking the same. I guess I learned this works best using all manual settings. Luckily photoshop is amazing!

Week 7: Photo a day template
This is the template I created for the photo a day spread. I used a texture picture I had taken for my background and increased the saturation and dropped the opacity. I then made the seven boxes I wanted my photos to be placed in. I added a stroke and drop shadow to all of the boxes. Text was added and the photos were placed in the rectangle shapes by using the clipping masks. Which is a very useful tool, I enjoyed learning how to do this! This trick is quite handy because it allows you to make a basic layout and then easily insert images and text in minutes.
Week 7: Photo a day
This assignment was fun. The hard thing was getting yourself to remember and get out to take a photo each day. I decided for this assignment to shoot things around Rexburg. Things we may pass by but not really notice unless we are paying attention. I still tried to keep them all giving the same feel of small town in Idaho.
